Mary Lou Burke

Mary Lou Burke, 91, of Bethlehem died on Friday, February 28, 2025. She was born June 27, 1933 in Olyphant, PA; daughter of Samuel and Teresa (Walsh) Roe. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William P. Burke, who died in 2012.

Mary was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Olyphant and Marywood University. She was employed as a dietitian at St. Luke's Hospital until her retirement. She was a parishioner at Notre Dame of Bethlehem for over 50 years and enjoyed her time with the choir.

She is survived by four sons and their wives: Bill and Stacey of Bethlehem; Tim and Barb of Hampstead, MD; Patrick and Monica of Mesa, AZ; and Paul and Milissa of Bethlehem. She has nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9-10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
