Mary Elizabeth Whitehead

Mary Elizabeth (Hudak)Whitehead, 59, of South Riding, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Mary Beth was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Kathleen (McDonnell) Hudak. Mary Beth was born on March 20, 1964, and graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a real estate agent with RE/MAX Gateway in Virginia and was a member of the Residential Multi-Million Dollar Club. She was a beloved mother and wife who raised and nurtured her family during their time in Virginia, Finland, Estonia, and Hungary.

Survivors: Mary Beth will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David, children; Eric (Katherine) of Fairfax, VA, and Ryan (Elena) of South Riding, VA; and siblings; Edward (Alina) Hudak of Miami, FL, Shane (Lenore) Hudak of Nazareth, PA, Kevin Hudak (Deanna Robertson) of Easton, PA, and Melissa (Wilson) King of Alexandria, VA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service: A visitation and celebration of Mary Beth’s life will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on September 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Another visitation will be held on September 23, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish (formerly Ss. Cyril and Methodius Parish), 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in Virginia at a later date.
