Mary Ellen Heil

Mary Ellen Heil, 69, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Tuesday February 17, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital -Muhlenberg Campus. She was born in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Dougherty) Ridgick. Mary Ellen graduated from the LPN program at Northampton Community College. She worked for many years in the office of Channel 39 Television Station. Mary Ellen was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. She loved to cook, cross stitch, travel, and play bingo.

She will lovingly be remembered by her beloved companion, Robert Donnelly, sister, Kathleen Strunk and husband David, stepdaughter, Sarah Donnelly, several nieces and nephews, and long time friend, Betty Koplin. She was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Ridgick, and Robert Ridgick. 

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
