Mary Kula

H. Mary Kula, 69, of Allentown, died on Friday, January 23, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp. She was born in Scranton, the daughter of Irene C. Collins Layland of Allentown and the late Thomas Fredrick Layland. Mary was the loving wife of the late Richard Kula, who died in 1993.

Mary graduated from Allentown School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for Allentown General Hospital for over 20 years.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Whitehall.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her mother, sons, Richard A. Kula, Jr. & his wife, Cindy, of Allentown, Scott T. Kula of Macungie, Lee J. Kula of Florida, Mark R. Kula of Macungie, sister, Midge, wife of Warren Wademan of Allentown, her three grandchildren, Corrine, Tyler & Marissa and best-friend, her dog, Max.
