Matilde Rios, 82, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. Born November 17, 1924 in Catano, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Rafael Rios and Emilia Cuevas. She was the loving wife of the late Ismael Garcia Rios. She earned an Associates Degree in Secretarial Sciences. Matilde devoted her life to her family and loved to cook. She attended Holy Infancy Catholic Church of Bethlehem.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Ismael Garcia Rios of Austin, TX, Cedar I. Garcia Rios of Puerto Rico, her daughter, with whom she resided, Matilde E.Garcia of Bethlehem and three grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. Fourth St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
Services will be held in Puerto Rico. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.
