Matthew Tumminello

Matthew ?Motty? Tumminello, 86, of Bethlehem, PA

died on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born July 26, 1920 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose DeFrank Tumminello.

Matthew was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He was the owner and president of A and B Insulating for over 50 years. He was a member of the Fountain Hill American Legion and also a lifetime member of the N.R.A. He was an avid hunter and sportsman.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Lillian wife of William Putar; his brother Nathan Tumminello both of Bethlehem; Nieces Cynthia Wife of David Liedl of Easton and Lauren wife of Peter DerManuelian of Boston, MA; Nephew Edward Tumminello of New Jersey; Great Nieces Kira Stackhouse of California, Jaryn Stackhouse of New Jersey, and Marta Liedl of Easton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary G. Tumminello.

SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Saturday, August 26, 2006 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christain Burial at 11:30AM at Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary 826 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
