Michael Barry Carl

Michael Barry Carl, 67, of Bethlehem, died on July 6, 2021. He was born in Trexlertown, PA; son of the late Aaron D. and Suzanne (Heil) Carl. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Dory Carl.

Michael will be remembered as an exceptional character with an immense heart; he was considered a big teddy bear by his family. Michael was very easy going and found great peace in being outdoors. He had many talents; Michael was a semi-pro fisherman, enjoyed boating, riding his motorcycle, and he was a gifted pen and ink artist. He took pride in teaching his nephews the intricacies of fishing and he had a unique sense of humor. He will be most remembered for the affection of his beloved wife, Dory. The two treasured their time together on many trips and vacations.

Michael retired from the Bethlehem Steel and later found a great sense of purpose in driving school buses.

Michael will be dearly missed by his wife, Dory; as well as his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael to The Center of Animal Health and Welfare.
