Michael G. Novrosky

Michael G. Novrosky, 75, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2023.

Born on May 1, 1948, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary A. (Kilpatrick) Novrosky.

Michael graduated from Liberty High School. He was a proud Marine veteran and served our country in Vietnam. Mike was a police officer for the Bethlehem Police Department for 20 years until he was injured in the line of duty. He was a member of the Bethlehem FOP Lodge and the Moose Lodge in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mike was a lifelong Eagles and Phillies fan—he enjoyed joking around, a good beer, and spending time in Wisconsin with his daughter, Meghan, her family and her dogs.

Mike will be dearly missed by his daughter, Meghan Schmeider and her husband, Scott, of Wisconsin; sister, Peg Novrosky; nephew, Ben Novrosky and his wife, Jessica and their children, Ellie and Nick; his former wife who he remained close with, Nancy Novrosky; and his grandson, Ean Schmeider and his fiancé, Leah Fastenau.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Novrosky.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Michael’s family would like to extend their sincere thank you and gratitude towards the Lehigh Valley Muhlenburg Emergency Department, the paramedics and the staff at Lutheran Manor.
