Michael T. Carraghan

Michael T. Carraghan, 57, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 13, 1966 in Bethlehem, he was the son of Elaine (Barnak) and Joseph P. Carraghan.

There were many things Michael enjoyed doing throughout his life—he loved going to the casino, camping with his family and boating. He was exceptionally bright when it came to anything that revolved around computers. Michael loved animals, especially his cats, he also was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan—in fact, it was a running joke in his family. Michael will be remembered for his giving personality, even in his final moments—he was an organ donor.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his mother, who loved and cared for him, Elaine E. Carraghan; brother, Joseph M. (Patricia) Carraghan; two sisters, Colleen (Bruce) Knauss and Beth-Ann (Brian) Ardinger; and his four nephews, Andrew, Eric, Bryan and Matthew.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph P. Carraghan and niece, Carissa MaDouse.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10-11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
