Patricia A. Molinari, 96, of Northampton, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Country Meadows in Bethlehem Township. She was the beloved wife of the late W. Frank Molinari, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage prior to his passing on July 24, 2021.
Born on April 23, 1930, in Plainfield, New Jersey, Patricia was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Sullivan) DeAngelis. The oldest daughter of 12 children, Pat came from humble beginnings and carried the lessons of those early years throughout her life. She was a faithful, resilient, kind and generous survivor who worked hard to create a beautiful life for herself and her family.
Patricia started working at a young age, leaving high school to work as a telephone operator to help support her family. One of her proudest moments was earning her GED prior to her oldest child's high school graduation.
Over the years, she held a variety of positions; which included office manager, and baking pies for her brother's restaurant, which she and Frank went on to own. Her last position was as owner of a payroll service, which she ran with her daughter. She loved being an entrepreneur. While she owned the payroll service, she became involved with the Bethlehem Area Chamber of Commerce. She enjoyed volunteering for the Chamber, meeting new business owners and welcoming them to the area. For her dedication, she was recognized as the Chamber's Ambassador of the Year.
In retirement, she and Frank were able to spend many happy years traveling down South enjoying the beach at Jekyll lsland, Georgia and sharing their home there with family and friends.
Pat was exceptionally generous with her time, talents and resources. She was a talented seamstress who sewed her own wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses, as well as clothing for her children when they were young. She was a lifelong collector of antique furniture and was known for her collections of glassware, Noah's Arks, decoys and toys. She loved to play games and do puzzles, keeping her mind sharp until the age of 95.
Above all, Pat loved her family. She was happiest when she was spending time with them. Her grandchildren brought her particular joy, and she loved teaching them to play games and bake and taking them on trips. Her family will fondly remember her specialties: meatballs and sauce, chocolate chip cookies, love knots, chocolate cake and her homemade pies. Pat led by example and her family will keep her memory alive in all the lessons she taught them along the way: faith, love, hard work, resilience, kindness and generosity.
Patricia will be dearly missed by her children, Francis Molinari and his wife, Cheryl Ann, their children, Jon Bryan, Elle, James (Jenn), Anna, and Leah (Johnny); Mark Molinari, and his children Taylor (Grant), Alexa (Alex), Abby (Bryce); and Milissa Burke and her husband, Paul and their daughter, Treasa, and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three sisters, Bernice, Gail and Kathy and many other family members who will remember her fondly.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, brothers, Edward, John, Richard, Bernard, James and Charles, and sisters, Joan and Maureen.
