Paul Hilaire Tallarico passed away suddenly at home on January 19, 2026. He was born on October 2, 1961 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John and Anne Tallarico. He was a graduate of Liberty High School, Temple University and DeSales University. He was a master carpenter, and no home project was too big for him to tackle.
Paul loved to travel, from hiking in the United States to exploring foreign countries. He was an avid reader and enjoyed discussing what he learned. Paul did not share in the Tallarico family's passion for food, but he was very proud of learning how to scramble eggs at the age of 60. In addition to those interests, Paul loved above all else spending time with his family. He never missed an event involving his nieces and nephews, John Michael Tallarico, Zachary Tallarico, Julia Tallarico Spinelli, James Richmond, Jr., Steven Richmond, Andrew Richmond, Elyse Stephens, and Timothy Stephens, Jr. He was enamored with being a great uncle to the next generation of his family, Santino Spinelli, Giovanna Spinelli and Cornelia Richmond. Paul is also survived by his older siblings, John Tallarico, Jr., Jean (Jim) Tallarico Richmond and Mimi (Tim) Tallarico Stephens. He will be sorely missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E Broad Street, Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Church, 450 E. Washington Avenue, Bethlehem, on February 6th at 11 a.m.
