Philip Carle

Philip Carle, 89, formerly of Allentown died Tuesday December 26, 2006 at Rosewood Manor in Pensacola, FL. Born on December 22nd in Trucksville, PA; he was the son of the late Thomas, Jr. and Grace Hess Carle. He was the husband of the late Helen Hoffman Carle, who died in 2004.

Philip was a cost accountant employed by Western Electric for 38 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Midway Manor Moravian Church of Allentown and a former youth fellowship advisor of the church. He was a member of Porter Lodge No. 284 F&AM, of the Lehigh Consistory and of the Rajah Temple. He was also a former scout master.

Survivors: daughter, Patricia Carle of Pensacola, FL; son, David of New York, NY; grandson, Christopher Rowley of New Orleans; 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: grandson, Benjamin Rowley, 4 brothers and, 1 sister.
