Richard Ferencin

Richard G. Ferencin, 82, of Bethlehem, PA passed away on Sunday May 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Francis and Ann (Medei) Ferencin. He was the husband of the late Jacqualine (Dickert) Ferencin. Richard graduated from Liberty High School and then served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Essex Aircraft Carrier. He worked in the beam yards for Bethlehem Steel. Richard was an active member at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem and enjoyed playing the guitar and composing many of his own songs.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Richard Ferencin Jr., daughters, Diana Ritter and Darlene Ferencin, brother, Francis Ferencin, sister, Anna Marie Menegus, grandchildren, Bethann Ritter, and Danielle Temos, and 6 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 9-10:30am on Friday May 16, 2025, at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11am at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
