Richard M. Glancy, Sr., 81, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was born September 21, 1932 in Bethlehem; son of the late John C. Glancy Sr. and Thelma (Swavely) Glancy. Richard is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan P. (Weaver) Glancy. Richard retired from Spirex Sarco Inc. after 42 years of service in the machine shop. He was a life member of The Hosey, Fountain Hill Republican and Democratic Clubs.
Wife, Joan; daughter, Tricia J. Brosky (Scott) of Whitehall; son, Richard M. Glancy, Jr. (Tracey Lynn); grandchildren, Ashlee and Emily Brosky and Amber Glancy; sister, Theresa Kline; sister-in-law, Gen Glancy; nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by sister, Frances Doll and brothers, John and Bernard.
A service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to The Childrens Home of Easton.
