Robert J. Mchale, Sr.

Robert J. McHale, Sr., 62, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, May 28, 2011 in Allentown. He was born in Passaic, NJ; the son of Dorothy DeLaney McHale of Nazareth; and the late James McHale. He was the husband of Ellie M. Alonzo McHale.

Robert worked for Bethlehem Steel as a Door Machine Operator in the Coke Works Division. He served his country in the US Navy during Vietnam.

Robert is survived and will be missed by his wife, Ellie; son, Robert J. McHale, Jr. daughter, Melissa L., wife of Frank E. Hegedus all of Allentown; his mother, Dorothy, sisters, Mary Beth Baab and Mary Ruth Ellis both of Bethlehem; and his three grandchildren, Austen, Amanda and Connor Hegedus. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory McHale.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, June 04, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
