Ronald J. Silvoy

Ronald J. Silvoy, Sr., 68, of Bethlehem, died on Friday, January 25, 2013. He was born August 30, 1944; in Bethlehem; son of the late Andrew M. Silvoy, Jr. and Anna (Vatza) Silvoy. He was the devoted husband of 3 years to Rosanne (Ryder) Silvoy.

He was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and proudly served 20 years in the US Army. Ronald retired from the Lehigh County Prison Work Program Management. He was a dedicated member of numerous organizations throughout the community, dedicating a great deal of time to helping others.

Ronald will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rosanne; sons, Ronald J. Silvoy, Jr. and his wife, Stacy of Savannah, GA; Michael Andrew Silvoy and his wife, Shona of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Chase, Cadence, Aimee and Ava; brothers, Andrew and his wife, Sandra of Bethlehem and Richard and his wife Carole of Catasauqua; and nieces, Melissa Harshman and Jennifer Silvoy Capezzuti. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Silvoy.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 5-8:30 PM at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to follow at 8:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO BOX 758517
