Selma Chontos

Selma Chontos, 93, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill. Born in Bethlehem on October 10, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Matey Benyo. She was the wife of the late Frank Chontos who died in 2004. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Gary Chontos and his wife, Marie; daughter, Connie Chontos; grandchildren, Dean Chontos, Lea Thorogood, and Jamie Dinbokowitz; and five great grandchildren. Services: Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, where visitation will be held on Monday, February 15, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow, in the funeral home, beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
