Shirley Ann Fegely, 90, of Milford, MA, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Born on March 10th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Billo) Corbett and Alexander Corbett. She was the loving wife of the late Russell K. "Skip" Fegely for 66 years.
Shirley was a former member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. She spent countless hours volunteering her time at St Luke's hospital's gift shop, the women's council at the Boys and Girls Club, the cancer boutique, and many other organizations. Whenever anyone needed a helping hand, Shirley was always there.
She enjoyed all types of crafts and produced beautiful ceramics, baskets, afghans and counted cross-stitch pieces. She enjoyed knitting (she liked saying that she was self-taught) and she knitted afghans and Christmas stockings for all of her family members, many friends, and anyone who wanted one! And she never took a dime.
She was a consummate entertainer and her favorite holiday was Christmas. Anyone who came to her home over the holidays would have been treated to a magical day.
Shirley and her husband Skip loved being with their friends at Saucon Valley Country Club, and they traveled whenever they had the chance. Their favorite place to visit was Hawaii, since they had lived there when Skip was stationed in the Navy.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lori Hill and her husband Ken; son Stuart R. Fegely; grandchildren Amy (Joe) Taylor, Patrick Fegely, Laura Fegely, Jenny (Adam) Frye, and one great grandchild on the way. Shirley was predeceased by her sister, Irene Serba, and her brother Robert Corbett.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
