Shirley Anne Hart

Shirley Anne Hart, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at her home with family on September 21, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of William and Minnie (Seibert) Yost. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family. Everyone who knew her called her Nani. Her family was her greatest joy, and she gave them a lifetime of unconditional love, guidance, and cherished memories.

She found happiness in the simple things-watching birds in the yard, feeding squirrels on the porch, spending time crafting, and walking along the shores of Ocean City, Maryland searching for seashells. She loved doing all kinds of crafts, proudly making a new Christmas stocking for each new addition to the family. She was very proud of her shell and lighthouse collections. She also loved her beloved pets, Coco and Tammy, her dogs, and Ella, her cat, who were treasured members of her family.

She will always be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of everyone around her. Though she is deeply missed, her love lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She devoted her life to those she loved, and her greatest legacy is the love she left behind. Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hart of 69 years; her children: Christopher Hart (Lisa), Colleen Hawk (Scott), Patrick Hart (Patti), and Maureen Hart-Fritchmann; her grandchildren: Michael, Allison (Misael), Katelynn (Sebastian), Megan, Dakota, and Sean; her great grandchildren: Julian, Robby, Elijah, Amiyah, Juniper, and Ariella.

Friends and family are invited to a viewing from 11am-12pm on Friday September 25, 2026 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 12pm. Burial will conclude at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
