Shirley Ann Hippensteal

Shirley Ann Hippensteal, 79, of Whitehall, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on July 11, 2026 at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Wilbert Roland Hippensteal who died January 18, 2018. Shirley was born in Fountain Hill on January 25, 1947 to the late Harold and Margaret (Jones) Grube. A proud housewife, Shirley devoted her life to creating a nurturing home for her children, and later for her grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy in her life. She found happiness in the simple pleasures-whether it was tending to her pool, where countless memories were made, or enjoying Bingo at Whitehall Manor with friends.

Survivors: children: Michael Hippensteal of Allentown, Tracy Walczer and her husband Jeffrey of Northampton; grandchildren: Feleshia S. Hippensteal, Brittany K. Knauss, Ashley T. Knauss, Cailynn R. Walczer; great grandchildren: Stormm Castillo, Shyla Castillo, Abel Santana, Cleo Santana. Predeceased by her siblings: Franklin Grube, Kenneth Grube & Lucille Benek.
