Stanley Rasich

Stanley S. "Skip" Rasich, 79, passed away on December 23, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was born on July 24, 1946, to the late Stanley and Margaret (Gecsek) Rasich.

Skip proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He also worked for many years at Pat's Newsstand, where he became well known in the community for his friendly nature and quick wit.

Skip was a man who truly enjoyed life. He loved the outdoors, whether it was boating, fishing, hunting, ATV riding, or working on cars/ATVs. A devoted sports fan, he proudly supported the Pittsburgh Steelers. One of his greatest joys was attending his grandchildren's sporting events and cheering them on from the sidelines. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Johnny, who was a constant companion.

Skip is survived by his two loving daughters, Cynthia (Paul) Hahr and Denise (Robert) Zemanick; his cherished grandchildren, Brooke and Matthew Zemanick; his sisters, Rosalie Yuhas and Eileen Rasich; many nieces and nephews; and his cousin and friend, Rod Rasich who was like a brother to Skip.

In addition to his parents, Skip is preceded in death by many family members.

Services will be held privately in accordance with Stanley's wishes.
