Susan Rose Gorsky

Susan Rose Gorsky also known as Nutsie, born on September 25, 1957, in Allentown, PA, passed away on October 1, 2026 surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories. Susan touched the lives of many as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, skilled cardiology technician, and medical transcriptionist at Allentown Hospital and private practice. Her commitment to her profession in healthcare highlighted her nurturing spirit, as she dedicated herself to supporting those in need.

Susan was well known for her vibrant personality and zest for life. An avid bowler, she found joy in the camaraderie of the lanes, and her laughter echoed in the air during countless weekends spent gardening in her backyard. She had a special affection for the beach, where the sound of the waves brought her peace and happiness. Her enthusiasm extended to family gatherings, where she could always be found cheering on her husband, Richard, at softball games, or laughing with her grandkids during miniature golf outings. As a mother and grandmother, her heart overflowed with love, and her family was her greatest pride.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Rick Gorsky, daughters, Kateryna Polchik wife of Justin, and Kaela Gorsky, and grandchildren, Kohlby, Hudson and Oakley, and her feline companions, Max and Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose (Takatsch) Brucker.

A calling hour will be held at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church 1826 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on October 5, 2026, beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM. Arrangements under the guidance of Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem. www.connellfuneral.com
