Theresa E. Cooke

Theresa E. Cooke, 75, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at St. Luke?s Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was born June 16, 1931 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Svetecz Bencak. She was the loving wife of William P. Cooke, Sr. of Bethlehem. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary January 16th. Theresa worked for various clothing manufacturers and retired in 1993 from Surefit, Inc.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband William, sons, William P. Cooke, Jr. & his wife Fran of Bethlehem Twp.; Michael J. Cooke & close friend Lisa of Bethlehem; a brother, Ernest Bencak of Bethlehem; sisters, Mary Galasso and Anna Peake, both of Easton; granddaughter, Stephanie, wife of Christopher Karabinus of Bethlehem Twp., and a great-grandson-Jared Karabinus. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis & Raymond Bencak.
