Thomas John O'Connell

Thomas “OC” John O’Connell, 76 of Bethlehem Twp. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Theresa R. (Schramel) who died May 5, 2008. Tom was born in Allentown on August 19, 1947 to the late John J. and Louise A. (Tadayesky) O’Connell. He retired at B-Braun Medical, Inc., in Bethlehem, where he worked in Quality Control. His passion for cars was well-known among his friends and family. Tom enjoyed his 1931 Ford Hot Rod, which he restored and maintained. He was a regular fixture at local car shows, where he shared his enthusiasm for vintage automobiles.

Survivors: daughter: Casey L. (Jonathan M.) Stewarts of North Whitehall Twp.; granddaughter: Stella L. Stewarts; companion: Sandra Drozda of Bethlehem Twp.

Service: Graveside Service will be held 11am Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden Street-Bethlehem. Please gather at the entrance of the cemetery at 10:45am. Online condolences may be offered at connellfuneral.com.
