Bethlehem

Timothy M. Agentis, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anthony S. and Margaret Ann (Wetzel) Agentis. Timothy graduated from Liberty High School and later went on to attend Northampton Community College. He had many jobs over the years including working for Bethlehem Steel, working in the lumber industry, he was a unit clerk at Lehigh Valley Hospital, and worked for United Healthcare. Timothy spent his life in the same community that he cherished, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Beyond his career, Timothy was a man of diverse passions. He found immense joy in cooking, often sharing his culinary creations with family and friends. He had a love for gardening and spending time out in nature. Among his many talents, he had a special gift for singing, often lightening the mood with song, laughter, and the joy of shared moments. He also loved traveling and cherished making these memories, which included his love for the beach.

He is survived by his loving wife: Maggie Ryan-Agentis; his dear friends: Chris Derhammer, and Paul Petrakis; his brothers: Robert and Michael Agentis; his godson: Dylan Derhammer; his wonderful brother's and sister's in law: Jim and Becky Ryan of Abbeville AL, Jack Ryan of Conroe TX, Trudy Ryan of Deltona FL, Jean Snyder of Fredericksburg VA, and Susie Agentis of Knoxville TN, as well as many nieces and nephews;

and his dog: Hoboken. He was predeceased by his brothers: Anthony, and Phillip.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a celebration of his life beginning at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in his memory to the New Bethany Ministry, 333 Wyandotte St, Bethlehem, PA 18015 or the Second Harvest Food Bank, 6969 Silver Crest Rd, Nazareth, PA 18064.
