Vickie Lynn Ridgick, 68, of Bethlehem and South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Saint Luke's University Hospital. She was born in Anderson, SC on December 17 1955, to the late William and Peggy (Campbell) Martin. Vickie was a graduate of Middleton HS (Charleston, SC), class of 1974. After high school, she met her best friend and partner in life, the late Richard Robert Ridgick Jr. while he was actively serving in the United States Air Force. Vickie and Richard were married on September, 21 1974 and were relocated to Frankfurt, Germany, and post military to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Vickie held many occupations, an interior decorator, a dedicated caregiver at Holy Family Manor at Trexler Pavilion, and a medical assistant of oncology in the Estes Building of St. Lukes Hospital until her retirement. Vickie and her family attended Holy Infancy Roman Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed virtual services for Utica Baptist Church faithfully from her hometown of Seneca, SC, Vickie had many passions and hobbies, most of which were her friends and family, and mostly loved watching her grandchildren develop and grow.

Vickie is predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years (Richard Jr.), Parents, William and Peggy (Campbell) Martin, and brother Douglas Martin.

She is Survived by her loving children, Lisa N. Nimeh of Allentown, Robert M. (Stephanie) Ridgick of Allentown, grandchildren William and Emma, sister, Jo Andrea Henderson of Charleston, SC. She had many nieces and nephews. Vickie will also be remembered dearly by her friends and family, as well as friends that she considered family.

A celebration of life will be announced in the near future for close friends and family.
