Virginia J. McGinley

Virginia J. McGinley, 94, of Easton, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lena (De Christopher) Iannicelli. Virginia worked for many years as a Receivable Accountant with Roland and Roland, where she was known for her diligence, warmth, and steady professionalism.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, James Michael McGinley, with whom she shared a devoted marriage and three children. After James's passing in 1989, Virginia spent several years living with her longtime companion, Gillespie West, until his death. In her later years, she lived with her daughter Dawn and son-in-law Mark, enjoying frequent travels to Massachusetts to visit her son Patrick and daughter‑in‑law Patricia, creating cherished memories with family.

Virginia is survived by her children: Patrick McGinley and his wife Patricia of Danvers, MA, and Dawn Dzienis and her husband Mark of Bethlehem; her sister Gloria Steirer; six grandchildren; nine great‑grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Anthony, her brother Dominic, and her sisters Grace, Josephine, and Edith.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
