Walter Z. Pianowski

Walter Z. Pianowski, 79, of Allentown, formerly of Bethlehem, died Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Phoebe Nursing Home & Rehab Center. Born July 6, 1927, in Bethlehem,

he was the son of the late Walter and Katherine Matla Pianowski. He was the loving husband of the late Anna H. Rentko Pianowski who died in 1993. Walter worked as a millwright for Spirax/Sarco for 45 years retiring in the late 1980's. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of The American Legion in

Hellertown and a member of SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church of Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Scott Pianowski of Bethlehem; Daughter-in-Law, Deborah Pianowski of Allentown;

sister, Frances Doling of Bethlehem; sister, Helen Woisard of Falls Church, VA;

his grandson, Zachary Pianowski and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, David Pianowski. Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 11a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10-11a.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
