Wilfred Stair

Wilfred ?Bill? Stair, 83, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, April 24, 2006 at St.Lukes Hospital.

He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA the son of the late Wilfred and Ellen Cole Stair.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Faye Stair.

He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army.

Bill worked as a welder for the former Bethlehem Corporation in Easton.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife Faye; children, Carol wife of Joe Smugeresky of Upper Providence; Elaine wife of Dean Keinert of Northampton; and Jean wife of Jeff Kashnicki of Allentown as well as eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Bill is also survived by his brothers Fred and Cal Stair both of Bethlehem.

Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Elwood Stair.

He will forever be remembered as a sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and baseball.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of Connell Funeral Home, Inc.
