William "Bill" Konkolics, 67, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2024. Born on July 8, 1957, in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Alfred W. and Dorothy L. (Kilpatrick) Konkolics.
Bill dedicated his life to serving others as a flight attendant with United Airlines for 25 years and working in the transportation department for the Bethlehem Area School District for 32 years. He was also a proud graduate of Moravian University with a master's degree in business.
Outside of work, Bill found joy in volunteering at MusiKfest for over 30 years, displaying his green thumb in the garden, traveling around the world, and indulging in his passion for collecting Lester Breininger Redware. His lively spirit and love for animals, especially dogs, brought warmth to those around him. A member of Ss Simon's & Jude Church in Bethlehem, Bill was also actively involved in The Heights and The Wanderers.
Bill will be dearly missed by his sister, Carolann (David) Cope; nieces, Callie A. Cope and Cortney (Kristopher) Schmoyer and their children, Emma and Jaxson Schmoyer.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Graveside Service in his honor at Holy Saviour Cemetery on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 11:00 am, located at 2575 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18017.
