William Press, Jr.

William "Bill" "Bopper" Press, Jr., 63, of Bethlehem Township, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at his residence. Born on August 8, 1963 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late William Press and Patricia Brandstetter (Keretz).

Bill graduated from Freedom High School and dedicated many years to the automotive industry as a car attendant at the Porsche Dealership in Allentown.

An avid bowler, Bill could often be found at his favorite local spots, Big Woody's and Pints and Pies, enjoying good food and laughter with friends. He was also a member of the Roosevelt Democratic Club Association of Bethlehem Township and The Wanderers.

Bill is survived by his cousin, Cynthia L. Hataway and her husband, James; good friends, John Schnecker, Ashley and Ryan Correll, Steve Deluca, and Mark Weller.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his step-father, Bernard Brandstetter.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 from 9-10:00 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
