Harrison E. Kulp, Sr.

April 8, 1930 - June 19, 2022

Harrison Edward Kulp, Sr. (Harry) 92, of Freemansburg, PA passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Born on April 8, 1930 in Palmerton, PA, he was the son of the late Harrison Paul Kulp and Rose (Dolgos) Ferris. He is survived by his children, Sharon Hricak (John), Alana FaRannte (Rick), David Kulp, Susan Willever (Carl), Harrison, Jr. (Debbie), Dee Raisner (with whom he resided), Conni Jones (Robert), Tammi Eldamaty, Brenda Strain and Kerry Kulp (Courtney). He is also survived by his sister, Mary Mingora; brother, Richard Kulp and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harry was predeceased by his wife, Betty; sons, Dennis Kulp and Allen Raisner; daughter, Terri Raisner; sister, Dorothy Sauerwine; brother, Thomas and granddaughter, Amanda. Harry spent a short time working in Alaska when he was young and learned to love the area. He had hoped to be able to get back again and, in fact, was able to re-visit Alaska in his later years. To keep himself busy, Harry enjoyed feeding the birds and tinkering in his wood shop. Harry retired from Hellertown Manufacturing (Champion Spark Plug) after 30 years of service. He is a lifetime member of the Citizens Club in Bethlehem. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Northampton Memorial Shrine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Hospice C/O Development, 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
