Mary S. Danyluk

September 29, 1938 - January 28, 2022

Mary S. Danyluk, 83, of Hellertown, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on January 28, 2022. Born on September 29, 1938, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Veronica (Milan) and John Alex Slafkosky. Mary graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School in 1957. She was a homemaker for most of her life and took pride in taking her children to sporting events, races, and scouting. She was also a member of the PTA. You could say extreme couponing was her specialty, if she had a coupon, she had to use it! In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, playing the lottery, and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore Danyluk; her son, John Danyluk; three brothers, Andrew, John, and Michael; and one sister, Kathryn. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her four sons, Theodore J. (Laura) Danyluk, Christopher (Barbara) Danyluk, Mark A. (Xia) Danyluk, and Eric (Danielle) Danyluk; two brothers, Alex and Joe Slafkosky; two sisters, Veronica and Liz; and five grandchildren, Alec, Christopher, Katrina, Adriana, and Darian. A viewing will be held at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015 on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ursula Catholic Church.
