John W. DeWitt, of Bethlehem, died suddenly at the early age of 34, on April 5, 2022. He was a Father, a brother, an uncle and friend. He was born February 15, 1988 in Jersey City, NJ; son of John Laboo and the late Tamiko DeWitt. John will be remembered for being down to earth, his big heart, and great sense of humor. He was a wonderful father, good friend and was considerate of others. John loved going out with family and friends and especially spending time with his 5 children who he loved immensely. He will be dearly missed by his fiancé, Jasmine Cortes; five children, Jacier DeWitt, Jayceon DeWitt, Nasir DeWitt, Nala DeWitt, Nasin Ferrer; sisters, Jontaia DeWitt, Kiarra DeWitt, Joniere DeWitt, Cornesha LaBoo; brothers, Kiron DeWitt, John Avery DeWitt, and Sean LaBoo; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Quadar DeWitt. John was a graduate of Freedom High School. He worked as a forklift driver for QVC. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Any donations for funeral costs and his children will be appreciated and can be paid to Connell Funeral Home. Anything no matter the amount will help.
