Carolyn K. Gerencher, 96, of Bethlehem died Friday, July 16th at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Koach) and John Massar. She was married to Zoltan Gerencher with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage until his death on August 11, 2001. Carolyn worked at William Price Optician for 20 years and prior to that she worked at First National Bank in the bookkeeping department. She would also volunteer her time at St. Luke’s Hospital and the Age Well Center. Carolyn was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and its Sodality. Carolyn will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carol Ann Grow wife of William, Joanne Garland wife of Terry and Christine Gerencher wife of Tibor Molnar, grandchildren, Elizabeth Gerber, Mathew Grow and wife, Michelle, and Emily Voss and husband, Charles, and great grandchildren, Kathryn Grow, Anna Grow, Theodore Voss and Winston Voss. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Street, Bethlehem, PA 18017 from 10-11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s name to ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
